Devonte Simon , 29-year-old native of West Palm beach. Graduating class of 2011 at Palm Beach Lakes High School. I have been in the Fire service for over three years, first starting my career in Gainesville, Florida and now I have relocated back home to Palm Beach County to serve my community as a Firefighter for the City of Riviera Beach, Florida. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a Firefighter as I watched my father and Uncle serving in the Fire service. I knew then that I wanted to help others in their time of need. Firefighters are often the first responders to emergencies and play a vital role in keeping the Communities safe, while constantly putting their lives on the line to save others. I am proud to be in this noble profession.

I am a member of Payne Chapel AME Church located in West Palm Beach. I am also a father of a beautiful daughter. During my Leisure time I enjoy playing Football, Basketball, and exploring nature while walking trails and Camping. My favorite football team is the Miami Hurricanes. In closing I enjoy time with my family and every moment of Fatherhood.
